![]() ![]() ![]() We are left with a major cliffhanger that will lead to the events that happen in book 3. I did feel bogged down by this a lot throughout the book as I felt like the same conversations were happening again and again. This book very much relies on Amari being outcast even more in her world. We have a very similar character pop up in this book and I suspected them from the first page they appeared on. This book reminds me a lot of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, mainly with the introduction of Dolores Umbridge. Amari must fight old friends and work with old enemies to make sure everything gets fixed. But when a time freeze leaves the magical world leaders in a frozen state, Amari finds herself once again on the outskirts of her magical society and fighting to prove that she belongs.īut not only does she have the Bureau to worry about, now she has her fellow magicians wanting her to become their leader and help them fight a war against the magical society. Last summer, she finally proved herself to be a trustworthy magician and earned her place at the Bureau. This book brought so many great themes that continue from the previous story and even new information about the magical world around us.Īmari Peters can’t wait for summer camp to start. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since I finished this book and I am still screaming about it. ![]()
